16 first cohort of Qigong Autism therapists have completed a training at Wagga Resort Mbarara. The training started on 1st November 2021 online. The therapists were taken through management of Autism using Qigong Sensory therapy.
The trainees were drawn from Arua (1), Lira (1), Gulu (1), Karamoja (1), Mbale (1), Jinja (1), Entebbe (1), Kampala (1), Wakiso (1), Masaka (1), Mbarara (3), Kabale (1), Fortportal (1) and Hoima (1)
The therapists will train the parents to provide the therapy to their children.
Trainers came from Belgium, Netherlands and Italy under the leadership of Ms Sabine Baeyens Qigong Master Trainer.
